I AM HONORED TO BE ONE OF THE 2023 HIDDEN HOMETOWN HERO SURVIVORS

Posted by Pam Emmil on

I am absolutely thrilled to share with you that I have been nominated and chosen as one of the 10 Hidden Hometown Heroes, Survivors for the May/June 2023 issue of Bismarck Magazine! I am beyond humbled, excited, and grateful for this incredible opportunity!

Hidden Hometown Heroes is an amazing initiative started by Bismarck Magazine, The Larks Baseball, and Scheels 6 years ago. It aims to recognize individuals who have faced hardships and are now making a positive impact in their community. To the person who wrote my nomination letter, I have no words to express my gratitude! It's because of your kindness that I am here today, and I am forever grateful. Thank you so much for taking the time to share how my journey has impacted you and others.

I am truly in awe to be a part of Hidden Hometown Heroes, and as I read about the struggles and dark times of the other nominees and how they have made a beautiful and impactful difference in our community, I feel privileged to be among them. I am also excited to see two of my friends, Kelsey Zottnick and Becky Mathews, being honored as well.

But here comes the most exciting part: I am now competing with all the heroes for the chance to become a legend and be honored in a big way at a Larks Baseball game this summer with my family and friends! They are choosing 6 Hidden Heroes for this honor.  So, I am asking you today for your vote. I would be over the moon to receive your support, and I promise to continue making a positive difference in our community.

Voting is open now through May 19th, and I would be beyond grateful if you could take a moment to click on the link and vote for me, Pam Emmil. Your vote can help me achieve my dream of sharing my story to help more people!

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. Your encouragement means the world to me, and I promise to continue fighting to break the stigma of addiction!

"My pain gave me my purpose, My purpose gave me my passion. Let's break the stigma of addiction!" - Pam Emmil
